a white actor to play django

Imagine that. Lol

Heh heh, shooting yourself in the foot there, pard. Django was originally played by a white actor, and the race changed when Tarantino made his film...

I don't know if you're aware of this but I've already changed things. I killed Ben Linus.

I actually wanted to cite this film on several occasions, but I was afraid of getting labeled SJW and hypocritical and what have you. Well, "afraid" may be too strong a word. I didn't want to get into it. But yes, Max is 100% correct. Django was a white dude at the start.

Why?

Would you rather be labeled the opposite?

That would be a RWNJ (Right Wing Nut Job).

Nope.

reply

Nope what? Nope you're not shooting yourself in the foot, or nope he wasn't played by a white actor and later had his race switched?

To further simplify the matter, please use the search feature above and type in the name Franco Nero. It should clear up some confusion...

Not the same character.

Why is he shooting himself in the foot? Django from the 1966 film and Django from Unchained are not the same character, Tarantino said so himself.

Also, most people today reference a black man with the name Django, since the majority hasn't seen the original.
