'No Way Out', with Kevin Costner

Anyone else keep thinking this the whole time they were watching this movie?

reply

Nope. Never once.

Yeah, I did actually. Both top flicks!

Now that you mention it, and I had forgotten all about that 80s Kevin Costner classic, yeah, the twist at the end for that movie was much, much, much better!

reply

It definitely crossed my mind while watching.

reply

I just watched No Way Out and I thought of this movie.

reply

Well, I'm glad I didn't see your darn post before I saw the movie! Should watch out for spoilers in your headline, poster.

Yep for sure, especially the scenes where the camera is panning around Washington from above etc, oh and the music is similar as well.

"No Way Out" came into my head just watching the trailer for "The Double"

reply

Yeah, I thought both movies were kind of stupid, quite frankly. I'll probably never watch either a second time, it's just pointless. I don't have anything against the actors but this movie and the Costner movie just never had that certain quality about them that makes a movie truly watchable. I was easily able to turn off the tube with about a half hour left. Went back and watched the rest of it a couple of days later. Utterly boring.

reply

No Way Out was one of the best movies I had ever seen. I never even once thought that he was a Russian spy.

That movie sure did cement Costner's career.

reply

There are similarities but No Way Out is better movie

reply

You are truly jaded ;must have too much time on your hands. I loved it.

reply

A cool (3rd) twist would've been the real Cassius is revealed at the end.. Costner
