Is this movie like Martyrs?

Cause if it is i don't wanna see it, Martyrs was just an hour of a girl being tortured and abused with no real pay off at all. I'm curious to see this since it has such a high rating and good reviews but i don't wanna see another Martyrs.

Its not like that at all. There is some brutal violence, but they make you watch about an hour of physical, mental, and sexual abuse of one of the characters.

There is some depth and its not just violence for violence's sake. Definitely worth a viewing.
