Any other east asian movies like this?

this movie actually came up on Netflix after i watched 'I saw the devil', which was pretty awesome. you get to see Min-sik Choi as a truly evil bastard.

this movie, not so much. the funny parts were funny though. :D

Im not sure about movies exactly like this. But if you haven't seen the Japanese movie "oldboy" that's pretty good too.

I just watched this back to back on Netflix with Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, a movie with a similar theme of a woman wronged. It is hard to say which is the better film, as they both had the same emotional effect on me.

Though not quite in the same vein as this as it is not a revenge flick, I highly recommend "Memories of Matsuko" which is a deeply emotional and bizarre black comedy/drama about a woman whose life is ruined by the cruelty of the men around her. The main actress puts in an unbelievably brilliant performance, just as with this film. Another good film by the same director is "Confessions" which does have a revenge theme, but is not as powerful as Bedevilled.
