Well, I thought it was a laugh riot.


This was (and so far still is) the first Sacha Baron Cohen movie I saw. And I loved it. Not a masterpiece of course, but holy hell was it funny.
It's bizarre how many people hate it, but not really that surprising when I think about it. Movies with controversial content don't tend to be given high ratings that often.

Ditto, I quite enjoyed it. I'm just sorry the critics scared me off of watching it for so long.

Watching it for the second time four years later. Enjoying it much more. Hilarious.

Had the same experience as you. I first caught the last 20 minutes a few years ago and really didn't find it funny. But I just saw it again from the beginning and there were several scenes that had me in stitches... the fake name ones were hilarious.
