Romeo And Juliet In Space

there is really no need for this movie to be made. just no reason.
romeo and juliet 68 version was a classic.
there was a 1936 version
theres also a silent version
and westside story is sorta a take on it as well.
so was the leonardo dicaprio one.

anyways i'll still watch it maybe eh prob not

but all i gotta say is teens or whoever this movie is going to be marketed for need to watch the classics
or hollywood will keep rehashing these movies.

in 20 years theres going to be a romeo and juliet in space which actually doesnt sound as bad.

It shouldn't sound as bad, a) because this movie did have a reason to be made as a regularly updated Shakespearean classic with a new spin, and b) Forbidden Planet is The Tempest in space and it's an excellent movie.

Romeo and Juliet in space, that's gonna be great. Either a masterpiece space opera from Ridley Scott, or a comedy spoof by Tim Burton.
