Hank Paulson in 'Too Big to Fail' and in 'Inside Job'

In "To Big to Fail" Paulson and Bernanke are shown as almost national heroes who grabbed the naive bankers for their necks and made them realize that system is collapsing due to their irresponsibility and slow reactions.

Whereas in "Inside Job" Paulson and Bernanke are shown as frauds, idiots and oligarchs, who were given the trust to save the collapsing financial institutions and entire system.

What is now the truth and what the propaganda?

I watched this movie after having read 'Too Big To Fail' and thought the interviewer misplaced a lot of his accusations when focusing on the government role. The guys from the government saved the economy, and they pulled a lot of favors to get it done. The documentary glossed over the crisis weekend where buyers were found for the companies in trouble and outstanding debt.

"The guys from the government" then should have appeared in the film to explain what heroes they were. They all declined to appear. I think your comment is naive.

'they pulled a lot of favors to get it done"....which opens up ANOTHER huge can of worms.

Just because you don't want to brag about your career to a left-wing documentary maker doesn't make you guilty.

I love how this documentary portrays their absence as evidence of complicity (dark background, nice sound effect and then titles that say 'x refused to appear in this film'). professional documentary makers excuse those who didn't appear at the end, not during the film - that is nothing more than a cheap stunt.

"left-wing documentary", 'cheap stunt"??
dude, you are not that shallow are you?...
either you are in denial, that those guya played a significant role in causing this crisis, or you are among this wall street guys....
