this country is as corrupt, soulless and rotten to the core as they come. it doesnt matter how many lives these wall st ppl ruin, or how much money they take from real, hardworking ppl others to give to themselves, or how they ruin our democracy from serving us to serving them. No matter how illegally and unethically they act, they seem to get whatever they want. even after the crisis- nothing has changed. and they know it too. we need revolution.

People should not fear the government, the government should fear the people.
Unfortunately, apathy prevails in the world, and we are so over saturated with information we can no longer separate the truth from the BS.
We continuously vote these people into office, and in return they sell themselves to the elite. A US presidential candidate spends hundreds of millions of dollars to get into office, yet nobody thinks of where they get these millions. Of course they will not propose laws that would hurt the elite, they are the ones who got them to the office in the first place.
I laugh in the face of danger, then I hide until it goes away.

And we elected needless war-loving, guncrazy, "Bibi deserves more allegiance than Obama" science denying fake Christians to control the U.S. Congress in 2010 and 2014, because of rampant gerrymandering and redistricting, as well as Dem voter apathy in the mid terms. We are the laughing stock of the western world and now the GOP is looking to run a man who's best known for saying "YOU'RE FIRED" on a tv show to run the country, tackle the unemployment and economic problems and control our foreign policy. I hope Canada is ready for an influx of Americans if Dump is elected next year.
shareIt goes beyond our political system. Our culture as a whole has evolved to a unsustainable financial system. Even if we get the perfect political representative in office there will be nothing they can do to prevent another financial crisis unless they make people bite the bullet and become more self-sufficient.
The fact is our country ,as it stands now ,survives off the poor staying poor. We need for a large part of the population to borrow money. If people actually paid cash for everything and saved money in regular savings account,the US would go bankrupt.
I mean seriously, people are financing furniture and appliances, education ( and in some cases K-12 education) and healthcare, while investing their retirements in accounts they don't understand. We have several finacial bubbles on the horizon, some closer than others. If Oil drops to $45 a barrel the Middle East is done which would send us into a tail spin as well.
We seriously need a complete overhaul!

What an IDIOTIC statement from someone who clearly carries so much bias that logic escapes him. So, when Prince Obama had BOTH houses of Congress still held by his own party why did he accomplish? Could it possibly be because POLITICIANS are worthless? Like ALL of them, from BOTH sides? Or have you not arrived at that obvious truth yet? Well, don't fret, you'll get there someday.
