They are running out of ideas

Does anyone else think so?

I think they ran out of ideas years ago. If aliens are visiting Earth now then it's probable they were doing so hundreds or thousands of years ago, so I don't have an issue with that. It's one thing to say monument X or Y was built with the help of aliens, but it's gotten to the point where they seem to pin every single endeavor on these aliens. I think that's just too unbelievable. It's like the wet spaghetti approach, throw it all at the wall and see what sticks. What they need to do is focus on finding more proof for X and Y before branching out to the rest of the alphabet.

I agree with bad and I like Crustacean's analogies.

The repeating of already covered themes in the series "In Search Of" and more recently with the Giorgio in the title shows means there are no new "major" topics left to cover.

Bigfoot, Roswell, Kecksberg, Stephenville, Nazi's The Bell, Bermuda Triangle, Stone Henge, Easter Island, Gobekli Tepi, Nazca, Area 51, Phoenix Lights, Japanese Airline UFO encounter, etc. We get pounded over the head with these tier 1 ancient and UFOlogy historical mysteries.

If you noted on recent editions of Close Encounters, they are starting to dip down into the 2nd and 3rd tier UFO stories, which are not over-exposed. I suspect AA will start to investigate some of these.
