educational programming in the United States. All this junk and claptrap that gives no credit to human ingenuity unless it happens to be European. Then it's just a lovely piece of arty or engineering.

Human ingenuity is jammed into countless books and magazines. Basic cable is often for people to take a break from their days and take a mental vacation. Just because the shows says it "could" be alien intervention doesn't mean you have to believe it. At least this show does show history unlike The Learning Channel which 100% sold it's soul years ago.
