Opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one. Anyone who tries to demean or suppress another's opinion is kooiind of an a**hole themselves.

Some opinions are wrong and should be ridiculed.

My opinion: The dinosaurs died because they ate too many cheeseburgers.

No, not all opinions are equal. Someone may have the opinion that the earth is 6000 years old. They're entitled to that opinion, but they're wrong.

Suppress, yes. Demean? No, because some opinions deserve to be demeaned.

If someone has an 'opinion' that black people are genetically inferior to other ethnicities then you're damn right I'm going to demean it.

You make a good point, but only when the opinion goes against fact.

Or, when an opinion states as fact something which is unsupported by the evidence - like ancient aliens and bigfoot.

You mean like you just did by stating as fact that there is no evidence that supports AA or the possible existence of bigfoot?

Now, if it's unsupported by evidence, that makes it a theory which by definition is an opinion. Which only supports my current premise.

You mean like the opinion that there is no evidence supporting this theory?

This has all the makings of an endless loop of opinion, which by definition, is a waste of time.
