Im not sure.
Whenever i start watching a new ep, i automatically assume it will be about stuff that they have been over three times or more already, so it is actually a surprise when they show some new stuff.
Like that time when David Childress went diving, that was pretty funny and interesting at the same time.
Childress was a little eager to devote to an Alien portal, some kind of advanced Alien technology, instead of studying the science behind the actual phenomenon, but i didnt expect any less from him.
But yeah, im still glad that this show is around, but im not sure for how long or what this show is really aiming at.
If they really want to address the alien theory, it is a little odd that they have resorted to rehashing for several seasons already, there should be enough left to explore id think.
Ironically, the episodes about religion seem the most believable to me, while im not even religious.
But i have never believed in angels and gods, at least not in the way a lot of people do, reshaping religion to explain as aliens would make more sense, but it does not solve or really answer anything.
Which is why i find the episodes about crop circles and alien interventions with Founding Fathers or Hitler a lot less probable, like we are pawns in a galactic chess game. Id like to look beyond ourselves and not keep yelling how special we are, we dont even know what we are or how we exactly got here, its a bit early to crown ourselves kings too, kings of the rock maybe, now lets see how we scale on the Cosmic level.
Anyway, i meant to say that i wish Ancient Aliens would take it up a notch, it has embraced the stereotypical audience with a bit too much love.
I dont expect true eye openers, but a little less rehashing would be nice.
