What episode was this guy on.......

I remember an episode some years back (at least I think it was Ancient Aliens) and they had a skeptical anthropologist/archeologist on there to discuss stone cutting techniques. I can't remember the guy's name, but he was fairly young, white male that sort of a Mohawk haircut. Anybody remember that episode or the guy's name? Thanks in advance.

I dont remember any Mohawk guy, and this show certainly has no actual skeptical people on it.
Or at least, if and when they do, they dont let them say that they dont believe in whatever the subject is, or have them be skeptical to only be "convinced" later on.

They often discuss stone cutting techniques though, but usually from the POV of "it is too straight and sharp to have been done by hand, or with the primitive stone cutting tools/techniques of back in the day".

Same goes for when David Childress went diving in Mexico i think it was, David was "convinced" that what he saw was something unnatural and mysterious, while the guy who was the guide or diving instructor only looked at David and seemed to be having trouble in keeping a straight face.
They never let him discuss what was actually going on, id imagine that the guide would actually know much more about it. David basically concluded for himself and the audience that it was something supernatural, but we never got to hear about what it actually was.

btw, this was the actual place where David went diving: https://youtu.be/iHBvKDOfWiI, i just grabbed a random video from YouTube, it doesnt contain any info and it has some bad music.

You may be thinking of Todd Dissotel. He's been on shows on the History Channel, although at the moment I don't remember if he was ever on an episode of AA.

If that's who you're thinking of, I wouldn't likely regard him as an actual skeptic regarding any field of study he professed or was described to be knowledgeable about.

I say that because of the way he's claimed certain things couldn't exist based on the currently accepted methods of providing proof for such things, but he's never admitted that the currently accepted methods for providing proof for such things contains a flaw in the process that would never allow for an objective comparison to be made in the first place.

Anyone who either doesn't understand that the process is flawed, or who conveniently won't admit to that since it wouldn't serve his purpose should not be asked for an opinion on whatever subject is being discussed.

I think that is him (after looking him up). He was on a episode of AA, but I cannot find it on-line (appears to be the very first episode). IIRC, he pretty much laughed at the notion of aliens being involved in the stone cutting/moving of the ancients.

Found it. (The pilot episode.) At about 59 minutes in, Dr. Dissotel appears to express skepticism on alien involvement in stone cutting/moving. Towards the end of the show, he sums it up this way:

"To be honest, ancient astronaut theory has never cropped up in a discussion with my colleagues. I don't care how many pints into it we've been. We have never discussed ancient astronaut theory in any credible way whatsoever."

 Great line.
