The narrator is always asking such things like "What if ancient aliens did it?" So what is the answer to that question? What if they did? Not that I watch this show if I can avoid it, but do they ever even attempt to answer that?

It's the narrator's job to perform the follow through. Even documentaries don't just leave "what if" hanging out there. Whether the audience agrees with their conclusion or not, documentarians generally have a point of view they use to wrap it all up.
