I love the look the brothers have. The varsity jackets with the Wayfarers, black jeans, black chucks & 2 distinct hair styles (wet & slicked back for Slick, naturally, all spiked up for Ivan) were bad ass when combined with their uber psycho antics. Their gear lent something of a "varsity high school seniors /popular kids turned bullies/greasers (Slick's stiletto/switch blade)" look. The garish white Canadien Bricklin SV-1 (no, it's not a DMC)they drive is perfect.

Yeah, I thought Ivan and Slick were intentionally meant to look like and sort of act like Tom Cruise in Risky Business and of course Christian Bale in American Psycho.

You are absolutely right. When he was beating the Hobo up in the motel kitchen and yelling at him, he even sounded like a young Tom Cruise, perhaps mixed with Seann William Scott's Stiffler. Good call.
