It already happened. The Hobo survives, but is blind, and goes around killing bad guys with a sword inside a cane stick.

That was Blind Fury, some 20odd years before Hobo... did star Rutger Hauer though

I'd love it if they made a sequel revolving around Abby taking over that dude's spot in "The Plague". would be it's own movie. but would be awesome

Realistically, I don't think so. But the director has pointed out that this ultra-violent universe could be the basis of a Plague film, or a possible sequel with the hooker taking over the Hobo's vigilante work.

I don't think it needs a sequel, it ended right where it should conclude. A Zombie with a Shotgun film would probably ruin it and just be inferior like almost all grindhouse sequels.
