Similae to October Sky starring Jake Gyllenhaal?

I haven't watched this movie but seems like it is similar to Octobber Sky starring Jake Gyllenhaal.

Anyone who has seen this can tell?

Its not. The story does deal with a kid having differences with his father, but it is not October Sky.

No not at all....october sky was the story about a boy who is from a small town and intrested in rockets,movie tells his journey how he fulfill his dreams inspite facing many problems.....whereas udaan is a story about relationship between son and father....both r totally different but only one thing common that is both r very good movies.....
