Should be in the IMDb Top 250......

Well, i have never understood the rating system completely! movies with an 8.1 rating are in the top 250 list, however this movie is rated 8.2, and yet doesn't find a place in it.

Burns, before you attack other posters' legitimate question and provide incorrect smug answers, read the info below the top 250 list:

"The formula for calculating the Top Rated 250 Titles gives a true Bayesian estimate:

weighted rating (WR) = (v ÷ (v+m)) × R + (m ÷ (v+m)) × C

where:

R = average for the movie (mean) = (Rating)
v = number of votes for the movie = (votes)
m = minimum votes required to be listed in the Top 250 (currently 3000)
C = the mean vote across the whole report (currently 6.9)


for the Top 250, only votes from regular voters are considered."


There you go. 3000 votes minimum, not 10000. Jerk.
