Boredom at its best
Let me make a confession first. I never got past first 45 minutes. Later it may have turned from a predictable mess to a class masterpiece...but after first 45 minutes i was past care.
An unruly kid thrown out of a hostel because he was watching a late night movie. Then a tough father hell bent to throw his weight around. What an original idea!
And this sums the movie. Rest of it is just going through the motions. Movie NEVER moves up from its basics. As expected the kid is sensitive and rebellious. Father insensitive and authoritative. Father's brother gives sane advice...god! very obvious witers and director had lots of money and spare time on his hands to waste and they hate putting stress on their tiny brains to come up with new ideas or at least to put SOME twist in this insipidity. Except the child actor who plays the younger brother, absolutely no one is worth watching though Ronit Roy is a good actor but as they say, actors are director's medium...
Skip it if you don't want to waste time on things everyone knows. Writers and director must Watch TAARE ZAMEEN PE which deals with child issues and try to learn how a social relevant movie can be made while sill being entertaing and unpredictable.
