Most Unrealistic Thing in This Movie

That Tallulah would easily find a working pay phone in a NYC subway (I assume this movie took place in the present day).

Judging from the very modern cars on the street I'd say it is supposed to be present day.

Margo

I don't think anyone even had a cellphone. Felt very 2002.

Several people had smart phones.

It was November 2014 or 2015. I think it was the divorce papers that had the date on it.

I thought the most unrealistic thing was her juicing lemons and selling them as lemonade. A realistic lemonade recipe would be to juice two apples and half a lemon at most.

The most unrealistic thing to me is at the end of the movie the mother was walking through Washington Square Park and ended up in Brooklyn's Prospect Park. Also they made a mess of NYC geography. Not to mention that van wouldn't have lasted an hour in front of 25 5th Avenue, and it wouldn't have gotten a boot. It would have been towed.

You are incorrect about Prospect Park. Every "park" scene in the movie was actually shot in Washington Square Park, including the final scene.

Well, it's just a movie. However, in reality, they would have kept the baby at the hospital, as they would with all kidnapped children, let alone sick ones. Also, they most likely would have given her a paternity test.

They would have questioned Margo at the police station for hours, and not let her stay home. They would not have allowed the actual birth mother into the situation until such time as the paternity/maternity of the found child was made.

Plus lots lots more. It's a story and a movie, not reality.
