Is Ellen Page really nude in the movie?
I know sometimes actors have a stand in for nude scenes, buuuuuuutt that would be awesome, PS Im 15 don't judge.😀

shareShe's briefly topless in a sex scene with her character's boyfriend. Seemed silly to me. Later, both she and Allison Janney, separately, have scenes sitting in a tub where the character is naked in the tub but we don't see anything, so I don't get why it was decided she had to have her shirt off for the short sex scene. There are sex scenes where it makes sense to have at least some nudity but considering these two were sort of doing it in a hurry in the back of their cramped,unheated van where they lived, it would have made more sense if she'd kept her top on.

It didn't marry up with the cadence of the movie as a whole. ..unless it was meant to be an attempt to give the impression that more nudity was to come to entice viewers to continue to watch. In my opinion though, the movie needs no added enticements like this...it's a strong piece of cinema which I really enjoyed. The initial nudity in the van didn't add anything to the plot at all.
