Came here to say how great that was, Conan is truly at his best doing remotes and things in the office like with Jordan Schlansky

It was a hilarious remote. It's funny seeing Asian people interact with Conan because the makes them uncomfortable, but are too nice to get mad at him. But is that 217 degree room real? That's so hot.

I keep saying that Conan needs to do remotes more often, at least once a week would be enough for me.

Based on the fact that this segment occurred during the middle of February sweeps, and that other segments seem to happen around sweep time as well, I think it's safe to say that remotes are not more frequently done because they involve additional labor/additional budget.

I'm sure that his writers most likely give him some talking points for remotes, but I have no doubt that at least 90% of it is unscripted, and, no-one, not even Conan, is funny all the time, so, in order get a few minutes of really funny stuff, they most likely have to shoot a few hours. Editing a few hours down to a few minutes isn't cheap. And Conan most likely doesn't have a whole lot of time with his family when normal shows are taping, so decreasing that by shooting longer segments is probably not something he wants to do too frequently.

Well, at least CONAN in Cuba on March 4th will basically be a full episode remote. Can't wait!
