I thought u couldnt show nudity and F-words on basic cable no matter the rating?
shareThe FCC doesn't govern what you can and can't do on basic cable, but advertisers will abandon you if you get on the bad side of the Parent Television Council. Traditionally, that has meant not dropping f-bombs or showing outright nudity. Comedy Central has aired plenty of f-bombs late on a Saturday night, airtime that the PTC isn't concerned about.
In any case, they censored all the f-bombs in the Deadpool trailer, and there wasn't any explicit nudity.
oh, u mean when it was shown on CONAN even with the TV-MA rating, the f-words were still censored? I don't live in the US so im not sure about the exact details but im very interested in how the media censorship works over there...
