Is it still coming out? Hadn't heard much about it since the trailer.

It'll come out eventually, it's not too uncommon for low budget horror movies made by indie production companies to get screened at a festival and take a year or so to eventually get a proper release.

The Toxic Avenger was shown at a festival on September 21, 2023. I'd be expecting a release around this September-October.

UPDATE: It's having problems finding a distributor. Will probably end up straight to streaming, there is a chance it never gets released (I doubt that though, it has some big names attached and is a remake of an I.P, however niche it may be).
