Most unoriginal movie EVER!

1 thing to be un-original, but when a movie ends up being 100 times more pathetic then the movie`s it is CONSTANTLY making fun of? Wow! Lets make a movie about 2 lovers who constantly make jabs at how sappy romatic movies are, yet end up being more sappy then all those movies put together. Thats a creative comedy. NO ITS NOT!! Actually all kinds of movies do it. This movie just went beyond all of them. So people find a love story that makes fun of sappy love stories, good? Haaa. Thats incredible. Timberlake is the biggest flake on the face of the earth. But that actually makes him a good actor and and he was good as was the rest of cast. Woody was great. But yet, another one of the oldest one in the books. Throw in the gay guy who keeps asking the lead actor if he is gay and throw in a few gay wisecracks. All were funny, but too bad we all seen this 1000 times already. And i guess the writer thought making a love story, make fun of other love stories was new. Its not!

I find your post a bit chaotic and disjointed. There are times when you say one thing, then vehemently contradict that. Obviously this is intentional rhetoric. Strangely enough, it reminds me of the movie that you didn't like. The film takes highly unoriginal romcom concepts, dumps all over them, and then utilizes them to make it's point. Like your post, the contradiction is intentional. I do see how it can be something to dislike, but it becomes harder to judge a thing that is self-deprecating.

Thank you, nextorphanborn, I enjoyed reading that.

My old college writing instructor said everything has already been done to death, it's just that not everyone has seen it all yet. I'm sure this movie appealed to a lot of (young) people as fresh and entertaining. With two very hot looking stars.

Besides, what with all of the "Die Hard" sequels, there's no way that this movie can be the most unoriginal movie ever.

Being that it was goofy with joking on other movies, with the father talking about "Deedee"?, and Mila Kunis' character not knowing her father, I thought they were going to end up being siblings. I though, since the father came to N.Y., and the mother came back, they would all go out, and realize, and that would be the end of the movie. That would have been a funny "oh *beep* moment. Not that I think that kind of thing is cool, but it would have been a funny, twisted ending.
