I'm very surprised this film is considered racy -- it's quite sexy, but visually tame and made with enough tact and modesty for the actors. Given the subject matter, and how much by-the-numbers Friends With Benefits is, something more raunchy May have been more memorable.

I think if I was on a date with someone and watching this, I would feel uncomfortable. That is, if I had any expectation of my date having sex with me for the first time. It's kind of like mentally comparing yourself to Mila's incredible sexiness. No way. No how.
That said, I've watched this movie again and the wonderful thing is that it really captures how much fun uninhibited sex can be. Boundaries are there, but the nervousness isn't. Really nice to see that in a movie. Otherwise, when watching sex on the screen, it's as if the actors have to act so passionate, it's as if they lose all sense of each other. I really liked this movie for the sex in it. When she tells him HOW to have sex with her, it's refreshing, especially because he tells her what she has to do too. And neither 'takes it personally' and thinks it 'breaks the mood.'

Oh, man, I know exactly the feeling. I took my 86 year old dad to see Superbad. Man, I was trying not to make eye contact for some of the scenes in that movie!
