I thought the sex scenes in this movie captured the humour in sex as it really is. I've never seen anything else on film quite like it, has anyone else?
shareI know I've seen something else where I thought it caught the fun and humour of sex with someone you can have a laugh with, but I can't think what it is right now. Definitely this would be in a top five list, not least for the references to teaching a man the oral ABCs doesn't work for everyone :p

He was clearly talking about the dialogue and how they act. The sheets thing is due to this being an American movie. As we know it would be a crime to show people naked while making love. Now if someone had to get graphically shot in the face that would be just fine.

Which I am pointing out as gross and why STD's are a growing problem because no matter how much we know we make it OK to indulge in such behavior by glamorizing it on screen, in a movie that only teens and 20-somethings could enjoy.

shareI just saw the movie today and that is exactly what I said. The sex was hysterical and so realistic. The part where she tries to kiss him after oral sex and he makes an EEW! face cracked me up. Of course the sheets were in the way but that is a movie rating thing and could not be helped. Those were my favorite love scenes in a long time.

I agree with the OP, the scene where they're telling each other EXACTLY what to do? Loved it. I actually wrote about it in my last Blog entry. They trust each other and aren't caught up in impressing, so they really say what they want. And the result is really good sex.
So I don't know if this is realistic, but I hope it is. Now we have a film we can refer to at least!

True, it helps that Mila and JT have great chemistry so it seems more natural. That adds a lot of dynamic to their scenes.

Agreed, loved the way the sex scenes were in this film. Would have been easy to do any old copy-pasted slick hollywood sex scene but it was really realistic and funny. I feel like I've seen those kind of awkward sex scenes in a few movies before but I liked that it wasn't uncomfortable to watch and they were really straight forward about it.
