But yes, Ted Baker do a similar dressing gown...every time I see it in UK department stores, I think about this movie :D. However, at £60 I can't bring myself to buy it just yet lol
The poster below stated that Ted Baker makes some Kimono/Kaftans that look very very similar to this (thank you for the info btw!) I thought you might want to know that there are currently a few on Ebay that are the same cut/sillohette but different color/pattern scheme. They are in red colors (not the beautiful green she had in the movie). Direct from his website they are over $300 US so I thought you might be interested in taking a look since EBay is a huge price difference. They are also UK sizing (damn those thin British chippys!...just kidding?) For future reference, when searching for this kind of item, EBay has hundreds of this style of "robe". I myself own 54 (one of my huge fashion obsessions?) You want to search for 'Kaftan'. I own one almost identical to hers in the movie except it is not a robe (it doesn't open) but is in the same delicate flowing chiffon fabric but with beiges, pinks and greens. You can find very cheap ones for under $20-$30. They may not be exactly as perfect as designer, but kaftans specifically have the same basic cut/sillohette...kimono-like sleeves, low cut top, cinched empire waist, light chiffon-like flowy fabric. They are normally a popular item for over bathing suits but I personally wear mine over lingerie especially if the kaftan is sheer or chiffon-like. Sheer bra and panties, sheer or delicate teddy/bodysuit all look great under it and it really makes for a semi covered but sexy and totally effortless outfit. Especially on romantic evenings or vacations lounging around together in hot weather. Sorry about the long response but I love clothing!?
