Who do you think was the black singer Donna dated?

Donna showed photos on her phone to Gretchen (funny how she seemed to have them right up front and ready...) and said it was for 7 months in 1996 and Gretchen seemed shocked/impressed and asked if it was before his last album.

I'm thinking Tupac...

I'm thinking whatever intentions the writers had for that scene actually worked on the audience, to legitimize that awful "I'm black too" scene with the mysterious boyfriend. Ofc they would never show the picture because no real person makes Donna "black" by association so now the audience is excited about guessing who this legendary BF is.

I assume people think Donna is more interesting now because layers, she really does have a mysterious past/cool history/is diverse "on the inside"
