There is no joy in hearing the cast use G D...I find this offensive.
It does not build the character or move the plot forward.
It's just trying to reflect real life, where millions of people swear.
shareOne day Suits could end up on the UP Network where they silent out all the swear words (sometimes a word or two will slip through because the person doing the vocal editing misses some) - even the most mild (case in point: Gilmore Girls). They also have a voice over disclaimer that "due to subject matter.
some content might not be appropriate for some viewers".
(Note: Penis slipped through a couple of times whereas "damn" got the silent treatment. Go figure.)
I'm not offended by the language on Suits - the business world where swearing is much in existence - so much so that I barely notice it until it gets pointed out.
