Sort of like Forest Gump!
When he bumps into all the infamous face, places and times!
Interesting too that cast...

I am curremt;y reading the book, I am at the place where he has just returned from the Bahamas and his secret mission with Edward & Wallis. I find mostly in the begginning of the book, too many little details about how he felt at the time. I am not too crazy reading a journal type book. I am hopeful it would get a little more exciting as he goes on. What are your feelings about the book?
shareHaven't read it all the way through but because I am partial to one in particular I would say it is....fabulous! The cast especially
shareYea but you might marry Hayley Atwell if given ½ chance ?
Forrest although a great movie was of a somewhat 'dyslectic' character and as such don't understand your comparison - fancy some shrimps ?
'Passive' LIVE IN 1943/5 UK and that was passive with 1000 bomber raids on Germany taking place ?
Finish the read & watch the movie.
What gave you the most pleasure.
The cast was 1st class - see 'Recycled actors' thread.

I take it you are a full bloodied female of the opposite sex and lust after 'Mad-Dog Mac'? - but yep Mad Dog Mac was good and fundamental to the story. Best performance I have ever seen in any production, and he has had a few 1* parts in the past (Middletown) I'm not 'one of those' you understand, but Mad Mac was EXCELLENT as Logan (mid years)
