This isn't a horror movie... just a fair warning
Perhaps a mystery with a very skimpy thriller feeling. There is no scares in the movie at all, not even a creepy atmosphere. It is a very good movie though imo, I voted 8/10.

shareI wish I saw your post before watching it. Someone I watched it with fell asleep yet and when she woke up asked "has anything scary happened yet?" and we all groaned and replied "No."
DEFINITELY shouldn't be classified as horror.
why would you think this is a horror movie? it is clearly classified as a mystery thriller.

IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK...

shareI get Chiller tv, and 99% is horror movies. I can understand the confusion if someone also saw the trailer for it. It comes off as horror.
shareTo be fair, in the UK it was released as 'The Haunting of Black Wood' with the tagline "Where stories end and nightmares begin". You can see why people might confuse it for a horror film!
shareI agree, it was really marketed and promoted on other DVDs as a horror. I was looking for horror but was ultimately delighted to get this instead, I do love supernatural mysteries and this was like a feature episode of Twilight Zone! I really loved it.
