itv have agreed a deal to start showing reruns of the car show Fifth Gear on there tv channels.
Fifth Gear is now showing on itv 4.
There is unconfirmed rumors that itv are considering buying the rights to Fifth Gear so that new episodes can be made.
could be a good thing. 5th has always been the best alternative to TG. Now would be a good a time as any to try and wrest something from nu-TG.

Check out Tiff Needle's tweets in the last couple of days. Fifth Gear is dead. He filmed his last segment and said how weird it was that it would be the last. This isn't to say that it may not come back one day. British shows have a habit of doing that, but for now, it's dead.
