Instead of manning up and taking the criticism and trying to improve the show.

I get Evans He's trying to spin it.
YES, it may have done well enough in the ratings, but that is solely b/c of the CURIOSITY of the new hosts.....which are a trainwreck (especially no charm entertainer Leblanc).
It is a virtual LOCK that this show's ratings will fall FAST into the abyssmal category and force the BBC to find new hosts for next season.

Thanks for at least acknowledging that you watched it with the sole intention of not enjoying it.
"Gizza job! I can do that!"

Which is what I said. You watched it just so you could say you were right, rather than looking for the positives... which were there. Your opinions are therefore pretty pointless.

Is a div like a melt? Which is worse on the grand scale of wassockness?

Son added to the list. So what do we have now from the great University of Insults? Son, melt and div. No wonder you preferred the old lot.
Will it help you to think of insults if I tell you I'm a Mexican truck-driver with an Argentinian grandmother? Oh, and I like playing bridge on a slightly tipsy table.
"Gizza job! I can do that!"
Huh? You went back for more after the rallycross segment?
Seemed people in the audience were at least interested in seeing stars try their hand at the lap, but no siree, they won't get it. They get to watch pigs in mud.
When Evans starts insisting on applause from the stunned or bored crowd... that was it for me.
