James May The Reassembler

For those of you who miss James May's studious and methodical nature here is quite a lengthy video of him reassembling a lawn mower. It is quite the Maysterpiece. From the history of the lawn mower, to random facts, to the parts being very particularly and obsessively placed on his work bench, this is the quintessential May video that can help ease the wait until the new Clarkson, May, and Hammond series, The Grand Tour, hits Amazon.

I ran across this series the other day on YouTube.

Seems interesting enough for something to watch while falling asleep or multitasking, but leaves a lot to be desired other than May locked in a room. Feels more like I'm watching a YouTube video than something that runs on national TV.

I loved it.. his dry and blunt quips really added to what is a rather interesting series. Also rocking the beard is a good look for him.

I'd watch James May reassemble a dictionary to be honest. He babbles and bumbles and some quite amazing dialogue comes out of his mouth. You either like him or hate him I suspect. Of the the three recently released Top Gear hosts, he is far and away the most entertaining when hosting a documentary, mainly because he casts a far wider net, regarding subjects, than the other two. Clarkson mainly seems to concern himself with cars and insulting foreigners (he may as well play to his strengths) and Hammond seems to mostly host programmes that allow him to spend a lot of time mugging to camera. I find The Reassembler to be quite entertaining.

If you called a Centaur a horses arse, would he be offended?
