Every time Matt tries to engage Chris...

Before they set up the segment Matt will try and make a joke at the expense of Chris but then Chris will cringe, act super nervous, nearly whine like a baby and then cutoff Matt to rush into the next segment.

This lad can't literally take a joke. He has no idea what a straight man is to comedy routines.

How the *beep* is Evans successful in the UK? He'd get the *beep* kicked out of him so fast if he started in the US, Canada or Australia.

That's what we wonder too. mind you to be fair he has done 1 or 2 good shows like Don't forget your Toothbrush.

Walking on water is like finding a non fake female profile on a dating site...a miracle!

Oh yea but I find it's not down to him not being able to take a joke as much as he's inability to do this job. There's this one bit in episode 2-3 (IDKnow) where he snubbed Sharleen Spiteri while she was on the couch with 2 other guests. Evans doesn't know how to interact with people naturally and he shouldn't have been given this position in the first place.
Worst of all is that he actually believes that he's funny. That segment where he was on a medical stretcher made me feel so sorry for him.

I think you're a bit "evs-aggerationing" a little.
And he is quite funny.

Evans is a Ginger who we all know have NO souls. What did you expect?

He must have something on some big shots at the BBC , with all the pervs that have been outed there in the past years and now the allegations about him ? Don't see how he made it so big , on bottom gear he is just annoying as hell .

reply

Except that the greatest soul-style song by a non-black person, Holding By The Years, was written and sung by someone with ginger hair.

reply

But if you listen carefully he was actually singing about an Australian muscle car ("Holden, Holden... Holden!")

reply

to be fair he is much more suited to live tv and radio where his energy kind helps things flowing. His Radio and Tv shows like TFI Friday were actually quite funny and popular.
