Any comments in the media from the idiots who fired Jeremy Clarkson?

Have they commented about the plunging ratings?

If Jeremy punched a guy in the face, it's a lawsuit matter. Courts can deal with it.

Firing Clarkson for a trivial matter between two men was the dumbest move ever. Idiots.

I don't think they'd like to admit the show's gone crap since Clarkson and co left. and not forgetting people have done much worse things than what Clarkson 'allegedly' did and they've kept their jobs.

they obviously like giving business to Amazon at the BBC.

Of course not, they've moved on to ruin other projects that they don't like. (or maybe actually working on fixing the bad ratings)

The way Clarkson explains the incident, he DID hit Tymon (the producer?), and later apologised, which Tymon accepted. then Clarkson reported the incident to the BBC senior managers. A few months later someone decided they would not renew his contract, even though everything had already been resolved between the two of them. Obviously someone wanted Clarkson out of the BBC.

The BBC had looking for an excuse to get rid of him for years, but I don't think they expected Hammond and May to leave.

Indeed.

Well Clarkson says it was just 1 BBC exec (Danny Cohen) who was out to get him, the thing is Cohen himself has left the BBC. Clarkson has also been very protective of the BBC in a recent interview.
