Why does the town smells like fish?
I remember that Mavis says the town smells like fish. I'm confused, why does it smell like fish? It doesn't look like the town is near the ocean or lake.

But the fish reference is probably symbolic, as is the wine that is spilt on Mavis in the same scene.
