Ending was terrible

There was no resolution whatsoever.. did the guy in the car explosion die? What happened to the flame thrower guy and the Mexican hitman? And Aziz Ansari only dye-exploded one of the money stacks.. as far as I can tell there were several in the bag that were probably not filled with dye packs. Do they get rich at the end?

And the scene after the credits made no sense how everyone was just back to normal as if nothing happened. They really needed a scene in the end to tie everything up instead of just abruptly ending it.

the guy in the explosion (dwayn) did not die, and neither did flame thrower guy. it is assumed that dwayn made up with his father, because at the end, they end up opening the salon, only with the father as a partner. they call it major tan. the mexican guy probably died. you can't be roasted with a flame thrower for that long and live. i wasn't paying close attention to that end, so either a. they did not get rich, but their lives were enriched, or b. yes, they all still got rich.

there doesn't need to be that tie. it can all be assumed. it can be assumed both boys got medical attention, and that the dad and his son made up, probably because the the kid found out the dad defended him against the mexican guy and got shot for it. everything does not need to be shown, as long as enough clues have been left, things could be assumed. if a movie doesn't show the characters eating, does that mean they never eat? no. things that can be assumed do not need to be shown, it's just a waste of time to do so.

danibabi was right.

The rest of the ending was cut for pacing and test audience reactions. Here's an article discussing the cut.

I also read that Chango ("Satanic Hispanic") did die after being torched.

Weird is the new normal.

After reading your post and seeing your signature, I can only imagine you being the idiot...

Did you download this movie or something because you're not making ANY sense! And why the hell would you even make a big deal about a "comedy" like it was "real life"! You must be one of those internet trolls getting paid to try to rate this movie as low as possible just so other comedies get rated higher? I hate people like you...

Not to mention that instead of then going to the police and telling them what had happened and explaining the situation, they keep the money for themselves and go on with their lives and becoming just as bad as the robbers.

I think that there was a deleted scene with Chet and Nick at the hotel in which Kate was now working out at which I think should have been kept in the movie which I think would have added a better sense of closure.

Yeah, it's on the DVD. And it's not so much a deleted scene, but the omitted full ending of the film.

I don't agree with McBride's comments that the final cut ends quickly and satisfyingly on the right note. Well, maybe it is pretty funny ending with just 'Damn you Susan'.... But without the characters giving the audience some idea of what they're going to do next, leaves us a tad unsatisfied. Besides, if they left the full ending in, it would still only be 75 minutes or so.

Then the audience would feel like they got a little more of their money's worth, particularly when you pay extra on weekends, and for gas n' snacks, etc.
