Why the title '30 Minutes or Less' ?

I guess I'm missing something because I'm not a native English speaker. But why is the movie called "30 Minutes or Less"? Nowhere in the movie does a 30 minutes deadline appear (or does it?). There are deadlines of 10 hours, 3 minutes, but never 30 minutes (as far as I remember). Is it some kind of a reference to some expression? Thanks!

it refers to the pizza delivery, had to be done in 30 minutes or less

it is a reference to a promotion Domino's Pizza ran years ago where they would give you free pizza if it was late. However, as you can imagine, this caused lots of accidents, a couple resulting in fatalities and lawsuits.

In this made up world, Vito's Pizza uses this policy. But the title is most likely because he's a pizza driver, and he has a limited time to do the job.

Because thats the "standard" typical delivery promise...."We will have your pizza there in 30 minutes or less or you get it for free". Thats why you get them half cooked and see the delivery guys drive like they are qualifying for a pole position at Indy 500. That's my guess. I've seen ad's on TV, with that promise. domino's was first. Now they kinda backed off because drivers were causing too many accidents to get there in 30 minutes or less. hehehe

I get them in 45 and STILL half cooked. LOL

another way the title and the actual storyline are alike, is that Jesse's character is used to doing crazy *beep* in a certain amount of time.

There wasn't a lot about this movie that made a lot of sense, including the title.

Sounds like you didn't even watch the movie. It was mentioned several times in the movie.

I remember when Domino's used to run that promotion. While their pizza is pure crap, we'd order it once in a while to see if they could deliver it in less than 30 minutes. A couple of times they would get it there a few minutes late, and the drivers would always be total dicks about it, thinking that we should just pay them anyhow. Sorry, don't run the promotion if you can't back it up.

Whenever Nick got into his car to deliver a pizza, he hit a "clock" which started counting down 30 minutes.
