Why do people keep saying that the real-life victim was in on it?
As far as I can tell, the police have no evidence at all that the real Brian Wells was a willing accomplice.
Just because the actual kidnappers claim that he was a co-conspirator, why should anybody believe them? Obviously they have an incentive to lie to make their own crimes seem (slightly) less.
And the evidence points to the fact that a call-out was made to a pizza company, and a delivery guy turned up, and then there was a struggle.
Isnt it far more likely that the pure guy was an innocent dupe rather than a bizarre criminal?
