USAToday: Stylish "Wrinkle" lacks substance

I am going to say, "I told you so". CGI over story, yet again.

Movies ARE capable of so much more. I know current generations do not know this and are blinded by shiny/pretty computer graphics, but you are missing out on good writing that used to exist.

Shame.

It is too bad. It's a great story, and I was excited to see a new film made from this book.

I haven't seen it and won't, as the trailer was enough to confirm they went in the wrong direction with it. I don't mind CGI at all, but what they did lost the feel and drabness of the atmosphere in the book. Mistake.
