The One Disney Film In Foresight To Anticipate!

To my knowledge, this is the only non-sequel/remake/non-original Disney production currently in production. Hell, they even cancelled "Gigantic" last month! Are they really becoming that stingy? Certainly hope not; Walt would NEVER approve of that much, rest assured.

Thank GOD they're at least releasing this (hopefully they CAN'T cancel it at this rate, as they've already got a "teaser" out apparently). So currently this and the ongoing "Mickey Mouse" cartoons (for the record, Mickey was clearly intended to appear in numerous shorts throughout Walt's life and ever thereafter, so he COULDN'T scorn that) seem to be the two big redeeming qualities the mouse house has. Here's hoping they at least come up with a new fully-animated project (CGI or otherwise be damned for the moment) to compensate for "Gigantic"'s cancellation and nothing but sequels for the vastly - no, SUPREMELY - overrated "Frozen", and the respectable enough "Wreck It Ralph".

That said, I AM (maybe morbidly?) curious about "Toy Story 4" and even "Mary Poppins Returns" (though since the latter's predecessor was Uncle Walt's personal magnum opus, they'd better do this long awaited sequel justice; not sure what to say in author PL Travers's favor on that, though).
