Her chances at this point are dead and buried. Fox Searchlight peaked the film too soon, as demonstrated by how little love it received from the various guild awards over the last month that were infatuated with "La La Land" and "Hidden Figures" and how little love it got from the Oscars, and the Oscar race has become Emma Stone vs. Isabelle Huppert. Portman will have her day to shine again, but it won't be for "Jackie" anymore.
