Michael Caine, Vin Diesel, and Elijah Wood never should have been associated with this movie. A shaky plot line, too much CGI, and characters that aren't well developed. And by the way. Just because you have an English accent, doesn't make you a good actor (as in some of the rest of the cast).

But I agree with you about Diesel and Caine.
Then again, it's wasn't TAHT bad of a movie, and even actors have to pay the rent.
I agree, they did this one solely for the money. I hope they got a lot of upfront money, because I don't think this is going to be another Lord of the Rings trilogy.
This movie has a good premise, but the some of the characters need to be developed better and the story line was weak at the end. I think they depended too much on the CGI to carry the movie.
