From the writers of Dracula Untold and Priest...
I think Ive said enough...
(In case you cant read between the lines, this movie is going to be awfully bad)

Both good films.
shareboth better than The Expendables or I Frankesntein (example)

Let's be fair, you're not setting the bar very high lol. I found Dracula Untold to be pretty entertaining though. I am a fan of Luke Evans, and he's always a bright spot in any film he does (he's one of the few best parts of those awful Hobbit movies).
You called me pistol...so I called you Jobin.
You know when we left click on a imdb user's name and it randomly shows us a few movies the said user rated?
well, let's just say I used the OP's bar hehe. that's why I used those 2 movies
Personally I liked this Dracula Untold, not as much as Coppola's but still entertaining.
As for Priest I liked it ... the idea is great, the new take on vampires was cool, and the society ruled by a futuristic church was pretty interesting.

They're horrid movies... Cheesy poorly written and just bad movies... I really dont see how someone can like this kind of garbage. If you say you like cinema when you like these types of movies, well, you're lying. You like to be entertained, which is fine by the way, but it makes up for pretty biased opinions.
shareSorry it's not up to your elite standards of film watching.
shareSarcasm aside, it really isnt
shareSo you pointlessly made a thread to act like a bitchy snob. Noted!
shareNan, just to point out the obvious failure of this movie
shareWhat failure? Looks entertaining to me, of course I'm not looking for a Hitchcock thriller.
shareIf youre not looking for anything with actual talent and love involved, than this movie is the way to go. It looks fun, don't get me wrong. But I doubt this will be a commercial and critical success
shareLMFAO! Now I get it... My son likes to rate movies on IMDB too... I just looked at my list and there's a bunch of stuff I've never seen or rated 😅😅
sharesure he does.
sure you haven't and sure you didn't.

Well some studio put up 90 mil to get this out and another 3-5 mil in marketing.
Those that think this is silly guess what... It is... and you are probably 30+ in age.
The target audience is 13-25 and was made for their simple little minds.
They don't make movies like this for 30+ year olds.
wrong person to reply I think ^^

Do you really think a 26 year old adult would put a 10 out of 10 rating for I, Frankenstein? Or any human being at all other than a child? I dont think so
share...Witch hunter isnt that bad but yeah you got the right idea...no way will this movie make back its budget...
shareJust goes to show I ought to have done my film homework. I thought TLWH was going to have cool creature design, innovative and inspired lore and characters I cared about. None of those were in evidence. Michael Caine is easily the best part of this shambolic cliche ridden rehash of a trite piece of confused and poorly executed tripe. This might not be Seventh Son bad, but it plays like the impoverished bastard child of Constantine and Hansel and Gretel Witch Hunters, both of which were more coherent and entertaining.

It looked like it. Thank you, now I wont bother seeing it. But is it bad, like, fun bad? Meaning that you can laugh at the movie not with the movie, and make fun of it whilst shoving popcorn in your face?
shareYou gave this movie a 4 and you haven't even seen it? lol

I recently did. By curiosity. I thought it looked fun/bad. But it was so serious and gloomy, horrible... I was disappointed even with very low expectations
shareyou couldnt help me with that. I liked Priest and i like Karl and Paul... but man Dracula was bad like beyond imagination. and what worse was that actors took that movie so seriously. arguably the worse type of Dracula movies. and i thought Dracula 2000 was bad. but Dracula untold had to be unshowed.
TLWH had Vin in it for action. Also Michael and Elijah are good actors. still im not sure
Elijah did a good job. He seemed to be the only one being a character, not another version of himself. He injected a dose of fun, but yeah... the movie was dreadful. Way too serious. It should have been a self-aware comedy, not the love child of Van Helsing and Legion.

I rather enjoyed the worldbuilding of this movie. I also have a guilty like of vin diesels movies, so i thought this was fun, just lacking some punch in the right places. It also felt a little like a shameless grab at a franchise, people should make movies that are good in themselves, not as a possible startup for others, it changes the whole dynamic.
Similar with Priest really, i think the actors and the world was good but it dragged somewhat. I did like how it felt very Judge dredd like with the huge cities of people surrounded by wasteland.
from the guy who has no original ideas you mean.
Priest was a remake of the Searchers..... this is Blade/Underworld meets any film with the 'human monster truce' slant. Horrible crap.
Hey, not cool. Priest was silly but I quite liked Dracula. But you know what? It actually makes sense that those films were written by the same people, they have very similar vibes.
