Vin Diesel gave up Riddick sequel for this?

What a disaster. This film costs a lot more to make but managed to earn far less than the last Riddick film.

Those Fast & Furious movies will pay for another Riddick. Vin likes playing that character and they work. As long as they are rated R that is.

I never heard anything about him giving up Riddick for this film. Last I heard he still wants to do more Riddick movies. I think he is just waiting for Universal to give him the go ahead.

The first one was amazing and the second one epic... Even with some faults. Those are special movies, sorry if you couldn't see it.

Perhaps he wanted a challenge.

Playing the same character over and over again must become tedious.

I agree and that's why no one wants to see his movies outside of F&F. He's the same damn character in every movie!
