Vin pushing 50 and the Rose 27
Among many MANY ridiculousness themes in this movie. Although I must say Vin looks great with hair....like REALLY great. He needs to quit that shaved head look ASAP.

He shaves his head because it's either bald or thin at the top. Much like the complaint with Focus, the guy looks younger than what he is and she looks way older. He looks 40 something, she looks mid 30's... her actual doesn't matter. It looks weird when big tough guys like Diesel and Rock get a 100 pound white chick as a love interest, more so than the age thing IMO. It looks like he'd break her in half.

He's immortal. And teens loved the idea of a 200 yr old vamp stalking a 17 yr old high school girl so there really is no such thing in a film. or in real life with 65 yr olds marrying teenagers. love and money:)
shareoh and i think vin is receding, many men are more sensitive about their hair than they admit, also acting does have a fair bit to do with looks.

shareNah, that's normal. Men -- especially Vin Diesel -- age very gracefully and most women don't really care about age differences.

Vin Diesel always shaved his head, because he liked it and he looked good that way. Although he used to be able to have just a little tiny of bit hair surface.
Now he feels he just has to shave his head, because he's thinning anyway. Which for him is probably not a big deal.
They aren't really portrayed as love interests in the film.
shareHow adorable that you think this. But yes, they are being set up to become love interests. Do you see the way he looks at her? Who stares at their friend like that? No, they have a spark. Who knows, it could just be their chemistry. Or in the film, maybe it's meant to be very subtle now, but if there's a LWH2, there will be more sparks if not fireworks.
shareSo I'm right? They aren't portrayed as love interests in THIS film. A few glances does not equal a Love Story. If it were to happen in LWH2 (which will never happen now) then maybe yes they would. But that's a different film.
