Love watching movies and try to give everything a fair shot. Just started seeing this on cable tv and I don't think I even got to the half of the movie.
Slow paced, uninteresting characters and didn't really enjoy the plot.
Not trying to discourage anyone. Many probably enjoyed it and that's fine. Just my point of view...

The real problem is that it's very mediocre and very predictable all. It's one of those movies you have forgotten 2 days later.
shareYep that's me. Well the ending is too predictable and i generally dislike twists (too hackneyed and meta-cinematic). But i felt the middle plot was very enjoyable because the main purpose was left generic but loaded with nice lore details and "games" (stuff about magic and clever bits and tricks), like sub plots and action that alone make the movie. It felt joyously light hearted, like a videogame, like "Blade" and was really cool stylistically with the night in green and kaki. So it just does it for me.
In the end i liked it because the movie kinda didn't care being a movie, with clichèd attention on psychology and bla and plot,good for wanna be critics and grampas. Videogames are better than movies cause they are just carefree: i bet Diesel thinks so too.
