I bet if it was successful, like the Matrix, then suddenly, "Oh, btw, this is a trilogy!"
I plan on watching the "whole" movie sometime.
Caught some of it on Cinemax, and was not surprised by the dialogue and costumes.
In the Matrix sequels, which I thought were ok, I put up with the dialogue and androgynous styling's because such a kick a$$ story was established.
Continued, unwarranted awkward dialogue for this new story, coupled with apparel that could land most of the actors in the Matrix universe - seemed forced.
I like all the actors that were cast for this movie too. But were they cast for the wrong parts? Sean Bean seemed good (as always!) however, everyone else's dialogue seemed contrived/as was the story.
I'm not totally condemning this film, I'll end up watching it all... someday. But for now, I'm not impressed (in fact, the only reason I bothered coming here is because I'm still holding a torch, sort of, for The Matrix.)
